Looking forward for Monday?

Are you a Monday person? I am not. I hate Monday! Does anyone of you knows that silly question about Monday ? Why is it too far from Friday?

Anyway I have to motivate myself. I have so mny things to accomplish this day , all I need i o manage my time and be organize. I know I can do this !

I don't want to miss all the opportunities that is already in front of me just because it's gloomy out there. Arrrgh!!!! This kind of bedweather really drives me nuts!!!!

I need to head off to the bathroom . A quick shower probably is the solution to this laziness. And the thought that Friday night will be a big night for me ! Skybox a Valkyrie!!! Helloooooo????? Outfit ! Outfit! Outfit! where will I shop for it????

So.... for now. I have to turn off this lappy and  my Ipad so that I can prepare myself . Since this is going to be a long day for me.

Let's do this !!!! Divas don't do DRAMA ! We do BUSINESS!

Put your hands up for DJ Billy Cristobal

It was a great pleasure that the most promising DJ in town gave me the opportunity to dig deeper in his career. I never imagined that I will have this chance but he's really a humble and grounded person. So when I asked for an interview I knew that he will not turn me down. So lets get to know this young yet famous DJ in Manila . DJ Billy Cristobal.

In 2010 he found himself at the DJ's deck of Lounge Morato collaborating with DJ Shorty. He was just a hobbyist back then. Enjoying the nightlife at Tomas Morato while he was still taking up Hotel and Restaurant Management. With the support that he is getting from his father he was able to manage and get the equipments that he needs like laptop for this really expensive hobby. You'll know that he is very passionate with what he is doing because when asked what he will choose between his equipment in DJing or cars. He answered the question without any hesitation that he will definetly choose his equipments.

DJ Billy's humble beggining in his career all started in Morato after he made friends with some of the DJ's from the Morato scene, he was then inspired by them to try and play on deck. As mentioned he first played on deck at Lounge Morato then later on found himself being a DJ at different Clubs in the Metro. Three years later he became active with his gig at a Gastro Lounge in Mandaluyong where he plays every Saturday up to this date.

Being young in the industry DJ Billy was able to penetrate various bars and lounges . His most recent career achivement was to put the hands up of JRU's students last Friday night . Where he is the main DJ of the event "Shut up and Dance". At Jose Rizal University in Mandaluyong. From front act and collaborating with various DJ's he is now starting to host major events.

When asked if he is dreaming of any big festivals or events wherein he wanted to spin . He replied that he wanted to be part of Unleashed . He still acknowledge the fact that he has a lot to learn from this industry and that he is in no competition to anybody since there are a lot of them in the DJ scene including female DJ's . He said that they have different styles and what's important to him is to see people dancing as he plays on deck. A very remarkable answer DJ Billy. I gave him two thumbs up for that.

I asked DJ Billy if he can give any advise to the youth who also wants to try this kind of career. He replied "sa mga baguhan , respeto lang sa mga nauna, stay humble and always keep your feet on the ground" . That is his wonderful message to the youth who wants to be in this industry. Cheesy as may sound but I also asked him about his motto in life Stay positive , strong and focus lang sa pangarap ko ".

With all of this being said and after his successful gig last Friday night at Jose Rizal University. DJ Billy wants to extend his appreciation to the people who helped him that night. "Shout out to MC Michael Cabanez of MNLHYPN and to the official photographer that night Zai Imahe". His exact words for the two of you guys . "Sobrang salamat sa kanila sana hindi lang yun ang event na makasama ko sila, sana mas marami pang gig na makasama ko sila :)". "Salamat tlaga, I love you mga brother !". So there you go guys, you really have a friend to count on and that's DJ Billy.

Lastly, before we ended our conversation DJ Billy also mentioned that he wants to included the names of two other people whom he wanted to share his career as a DJ. Those are DJ Yuki and DJ Jackson Cristobal. He said "Yuki and brother Jackson, sana wag kayong magsawa tumulong sa akin. Ang pagsibol ng isa ay ang pag angat din ng lahat."

So, there you go folks we really have a humble and promising DJ to watch out for playing on deck every night on our most finest clubs here in Manila or the whole country if I may say.

Again , Thank you DJ Billy for the wonderful interview . Good Luck and More Power to your career.
