Vapers Night at Royal Club Makati

I posted articles here in my blog about Vaping since it's a trend nowadays on most of the club that I have visited thru out 2015. Usually this type of events are being held in convention centers for a more accessible venue for our vaper friends.  Luckily, I was given the chance to organize a vaper's night event with the help of Vape Enterprise TM at Royal Club Makati. It was a fun filled event. Many of the participants came from BPO industry and the party was hosted by yours truely.

Overall, it was a success and we are looking forward to having another one. Hopefully early next year. I am glad that I was able to get assistance from VAPE ENTEPRISE TM , having this event into a reality made me overwhelmed since it was an idea that came out from mere curiosity of what vaping is all about until I came across exciting people who are into vaping as well. However, it would not be possible without the help of some of my friends so let me do a special shout out to Haidee Proceso Elloren and Allan Marasigan of Royal Club for making the VAPERS NIGHT POSSIBLE.

DJ in Style the Billy Cristobal way

You will see him wearing his wholesome stylish #OOTD but you have not seen the best of DJ Billy Cristobal until you see him on deck at "The Ward" of Rehab Gastro Bar.

G-shock watch - CHECK
Jordan Shoes -   CHECK
Shirt and Jeans - (he preferred not to mention but you'll see it is of top of the line brand).

I have featured him here in my blog before right after his gig from Jose Rizal University at it had more than 500 + views. Thanks to this boy next door DJ and to his followers that had the time to read my blog.

And since it's the time of the year that most of you are looking for a place to have your party since it is the holiday season. I decided to write another article for DJ Billy Cristobal since I know that he will be fully booked again for most parties that is going on around the metro.

Party in style why not DJ in style? Right DJ Billy? Yes he is a true-blooded fashionable DJ fashion icon . Well I guess that is the point of being a Resident DJ among the clubs nowadays, Yes people goes to club to enjoy have fun and party along with their favorite music genre of all types. But the total packaging of the DJ plays a crucial role. Since they are the front liner for the club's image.

If corporate groups do have Power Dressing, DJ's do need to "Dress to Impress" mode as well. In social media you will people posting their #OOTD some even call it "Starter Kit". But DJ Billy Cristobal's fashion sense will always be classy, fashionable. It accentuated his wholesome boy next door DJ. Being a resident DJ "The Ward" for Rehab Gastrolounge he matches what he is wearing to the crowd. Just like the music that he plays.

He make sure that the people or the crowd will be able to enjoy the music that he prepare everytime that he is on board at The Ward.

He spent number of days, months practicing his skills, he got the tunes, that made him ready to hit the big time. If you will ask my opinion about DJ who are not in style or do do not care how they look . No matter how talented you are, every DJ needs to carefully examine their marketing strategy in order to be successful including their fashion sense.  Due to the increase in digital DJ technology, today there are more DJs than ever before.  It takes more than just good music and tunes to stand out in today’s music industry, and you’re going to have to carefully develop a solid marketing strategy in order to succeed.

When a DJ perform, their audience will want to see you looking similar to the way you appeared in their pictures distributed by the club promoters. As for DJ Billy Cristobal when he select his outfit for his performances  he will not show up looking drastically different than he appears in his photos,
Clothes don’t necessarily ‘make the man’ but they sure are a good start! Says DJ Billy Cristobal.
As annoying as it might sound to have a “outfit” keep in mind that people need memorable things to grab onto that make an artist memorable. This could be your hair, clothes, a performance routine or anything really that makes you special. The point is to keep it consistent, even after you are bored to tears with the flaming turntable trick the audience will still eat it up.

Catch DJ Billy Cristobal and his awesome performace at The Ward of Rehab Gastro Lounge every Tuesday , Friday , Saturday. If you want to book him follow him on facebook : Billy Honesto Cristobal

The Palace and Your Company's Year End Party

December is the month to celebrate most companies throw Year-End Parties to their employees to show their appreciation to their employees effort all year round. However, the cost of hosting a year-end party is justified is cause for much debate in corporate circles.  Recently two of the top performing BPO companies celebrated their year-end party at The Palace that is Teleperformance last November 29, 2015 with one of my favorite DJ in town DJ Soulful Jigs "Dennis Garra" (I will make a seperate article about his performance that night) and C3 December 6, 2015.
Many companies have chosen to cut back on year-end functions yet they remain a great way to strengthen ties with existing employees, emphasize and showcase company culture and celebrate the accomplishments of your team.  We’ve worked with many corporate event clients who tell us that they receive tremendous payback from their year-end functions. They would tell you there are three great reasons to throw a company year-end party:
YOUR TEAM HAS EARNED IT. Especially in challenging economic times, your team deserves to be rewarded for reaching your company’s and their department’s goals, working together and with vendors and other partners to move the needle. Every company does not exist without its employees.  Give your team a chance to let their hair down and get to know each other without the pressure of deadlines and budget wars.  Playing together offers your team a great way to highlight personality and sense of humor.  Stopping business, hosting a year-end party and thanking your team is a simple but important gesture that will go a long way to visibly communicate in a fun and entertaining way “THANK YOU!  We can’t do it without you”. Get creative. Create a theme for this year’s event which ties to a major milestone you accomplished together. Infuse it in the décor, in the games, in the awards. Give them a branded tchotchke which reminds them of the milestone as a takeaway gift when they leave. By professionalizing your year-end event, you emphasize your company’s values and attention to quality and detail which sets the standard in your industry. And after all, isn’t that why they chose your company to work for in the first place?

PAY IT FORWARD. Year end functions which “give back” to your team can also be a great way to get them fired up and excited about the upcoming sales season. When everyone is socializing and being rewarded (and awarded) is the perfect time to lay the groundwork for the work ahead in a lighthearted way. Add a competition into your event focused on an upcoming goal, tell them the awards you’ll be giving out at NEXT year’s year-end party or create a signature cocktail which is themed to a new company objective. Whatever way you can subtly add a focus on the future into your annual event, you will have begun to set the stage for success.

AN ANNUAL AFFAIR. One of the best things about a year end party is that it is an anniversary, an event which everyone looks forward to and presents some closure to the hard year behind you. You need happy, engaged and inspired employees to reach your goals and implement your vision, so it’s a GOOD THING (as Martha would say) to spoil your team with a regular year-end celebration. The key is that you break the mold on the boring office party routine. Reverse the program putting your awards at the beginning instead of the end. Make the management team the wait staff. Create a trivia quiz using company tidbits from the year and pit your departments against one another to win a prize. Create an improve skit out of “great moments in 2014” or a promotional video ad spoof. You’ll create some great stories and goodwill. The perfect way to sail into 2015!

I gather some feedbacks I received from BPO employees who experienced having their company’s year-end party at The Palace. Here are some of them :
“Surprised to see a venue that brought a different style of clubbing to Manila. It makes sense, given how hot it is in either city. Place is jampacked on Friday and Saturday nights. Cover is expected for this level of nightclub, but if you're an expat or a Fil-Am, it'll seem so much more affordable for the quality of the experience you'll get here.” – Anonymous, Teleperformance Employee

“Dress code is island casual, which is super welcome considering the climate. Prepare to bump elbows with "famous" celebrities and the kids on the richer end of the Metro's youth. All in all, still solid. Probably my favorite place to go to on Fridays in Manila.” – C3 Employee
“Don't give up on the Manila clubbing scene just yet! The Palace has opened its pool club, one that is good for some chill afternoon that can go til the night and the wee hours of the morning, with not much of a "strict" dress code (see my picture). I went with a couple of my friends on the first week it opened and I must say that I enjoyed myself there and the concept is quite cool because though there are clubhouses in Manila, they don't actually allow you to party freely and this late!” – Anonymous.

“One can compare it to an island vibe brought to the city as it opens at 3PM, closes at 2am on weeknights and 5am on weekends. There are two pools with benches and tables on the side -- one must order at least bottle to stay there. Then there are also airconditioned cabanas should you want something more private (and far from getting wet).” Anonymous.

“I really liked the old school mix of music that turns into EDM from time to time. As in all places it's really the company that makes it worth while, so make sure you're with those who are in for some pool fun or just lounging around in the benches. I would definitely come here should I just want to tan! Make sure to bring your own towel if you don't want to pay 200 pesos for one!” – Regular Pool Club Party Goer.
