You Tube is Life : Carl Ivan Calayag

The first thing that comes in my mind when I think of "vloggers" is they are following their passion. Unlike some people who do their job just for money, these people, who always have their camera-containing devices handy, perform their work not just for money and popularity but also for their passion. Further, many of the vloggers are contributing to society, too. Some of them entertain us through pranks, while others provide us local news. All in all, I appreciate the work young people are doing.

WHY DO PEOPLE LIKE WATCHING VLOGS?

I have a hypothesis for this that I cannot prove, or disprove.

I think people just like getting into the lives of others, like getting really deep into the lives of others, as that gives them a feeling that they have some form of a bond with someone who’s usually famous (desired).

MEET A YOUNG FILIPINO YOUTUBER

Carl Ivan Villafuerte Calayag at a very young age, he started doing videos for fun, his excellent editing skills gave him hundred of thousand views on most of his videos mostly short film, parodies and dance challenges.

Here's the link to his channel : CarlIvanCalayagTV

Follow him on Instagram
He is just on his senior high school but he already established a career since he is part of a local multi channel network of ABS-CBN.

When I asked him how he “I created videos on youtube to make people happy , I make shortfalls, parodies, vloggs, covers an comedy videos and I have no idea that making video will become my career. It is very fun to make videos with my friends because this is our past time .Im a partner now with ABS CBN multi channel network (Chicken Pork Adobo) and our videos are also being featured on ABS CBN’s show and I want people to be happy to forget about the country’s stressful issues.”
came up with the idea of doing parodies that went viral online is answered humbly :

SUBSCRIBE TO HIS YOUTUBE CHANNEL
PPAP is his latest video that went viral. But his Train to Busan  parody is the most popular it reached more than 882,725 views as of this writing.

What could be for the future of YouTube/media since more and more people started vlogging?

Finest Clubbers, in my personal option “the more the merrier”, more youtube content creator means that more option for all the viewers.

Special Thanks to Carl Ivan Calayag for allowing me to do this article . More power!

GAME PLAN : VIBE Dance Competition PH

OCTOBER 2,  VIBE Dance Competition  was held at Ateneo Henry Lee Irwin Theatre, it is a celebration of talent of our dance community. By continuing to support and challenge the spirit of competition each year with a special panel of judges, unique teams from around the world, and a loyal audience, VIBE and VIBE JRS promises to always put the performers first and in doing so, the event has always found ways to evolve and improve year after year.

Multi-awarded A Team Philippines brings together Filipino dancers from all over the country to share their passion for street dance on the Vibe PH stage

Up and running for 22 years now, the VIBE dance competition has grown to be one of the most sought-after hip hop dance competitions around the world. From its turf in Southern California, VIBE makes its way to the Philippines this year through the A Team – one of the country's top street dance crews.

VIBE's longevity can be largely attributed to the unwavering support from the street dance community which fosters a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for anyone and everyone with a passion for dance.

"They're all different ages. They all have different passions. They're doing all these different things. But all of them just show each other that they are here for a reason. This is what they want to do for a long, long time," said Gameplan host Katz Salao after getting down with one of A Team's training sessions.
"From the moment I walked in, they treated me as if it's game time. No one is new, no one is old. Everyone's the same."
After months of hard work, 19 competing teams are all set to rock it out onstage at the Ateneo's Henry Lee Irwin Theater to celebrate their love for dance.

"I don't think people realize how much athleticism, passion, time, and energy the street dance teams put for 3 to 5 minutes of entertainment. They're showing us 8 minutes worth of 8 months of work. They're heroes in a sense because they're raising our flag. In other countries, the Filipinos are known as really strong dancers right now," said Katz.
